Dress Code

We take pride in maintaining a smart and appropriate dress code that reflects the traditions of the game and the values of our club. Adhering to the dress code helps create a welcoming and respectful environment for all members and guests, ensuring everyone enjoys their time on the course and in our facilities.

Golf Course
• Tailored shorts or three-quarter length trousers are acceptable as are collared shirts or recognised golf-brand round neck tee shirts.
• Other round neck tee shirts are not acceptable, nor are beach shorts, sports shorts or denims.
• Football, Rugby and GAA tops are not permitted to be worn on the course.
• Any person not in compliance with the dress code may be refused entry onto the course or be asked to cover up, remove or replace any item of clothing that does not conform with this dress code.

Clubhouse
• Golf footwear is not permitted in the Clubhouse except when going directly to or from the locker rooms.
• Denim jeans are permitted in the Clubhouse but not slashed or “distressed” styles.
• Head gear should be removed within the clubhouse, unless being worn for medical or religious reasons.
• Collarless or sleeveless tops are not permitted (ladies excepted)
• Track or leisure suits may be worn only whilst taking part in club organised physical exercise classes, to include the passage between the changing rooms and the location of the class, but not otherwise.
• Football, Rugby and GAA tops are not permitted to be worn in the clubhouse.

The club hosts several corporate days for various organisations. To acknowledge their branding, the council has approved a relaxed dress code in the clubhouse only. Prior agreement must be given.
