Celebrating a Stellar Year for Our Junior Golfers!

2024 was an incredible one for our junior section, filled with outstanding performances and unforgettable moments. We proudly hosted four Sixes Festivals, finishing just a single point behind Belvoir Park. Building on this success, our juniors triumphed at the regional qualifiers in Blackwood and went on to secure victory at the Ulster Qualifiers in Cookstown, earning a coveted spot in the All-Ireland Finals.

At Grange Golf Club in Dublin, our young golfers showcased their talent and determination, finishing in an impressive 4th place, an achievement we couldn’t be prouder of!

A heartfelt thank you to our captains, vice-captains, past captains, and presidents who traveled to support the team. Your encouragement made all the difference.

While we didn’t qualify for other Golf Ireland competitions, our participation in the Eddie Harper and Sargaison Shield tournaments provided invaluable experience for our up-and-coming 13 and 14 year-olds. Despite their youth, they rose to the challenge and delivered outstanding performances.

In total, we gave 26 boys and girls the opportunity to represent our club, a testament to our commitment to nurturing young talent.

A huge thank you from us both and from the junior committee for your continued support. We appreciate it more than words can express.
